Internet Humor: National Anthem "Jan gan mann " has been declared as "the BEST ANTHEM of the WORLD" by UNESCO.

The best part,I feel proud to be Indian cuz we feel proud over everything,a NRI(non reliable Indian) gets nominated somewhere,gets to spacewalk and we feel proud of him/her even though they really don't care about being Indian(in some cases they r like coconuts,brown outside,but on the inside more white than the whites!!!haha

firstly though its a good news but google says its a rumor

http://www.hoax-slayer.com/best-national-anthem-unesco.shtml

Secondly its not anything to be proud,if u do a 10 sec research the the meaning of "jan Gana mann whatever" it aint for praising India but some British viceroy/queen.

"Thou art the ruler of the minds of all people,

dispenser of India's destiny.

Thy name rouses the hearts of Punjab, Sindh, Gujarat, the Maratha country,

in the Dravida country, Utkala (Orissa) and Bengal;

It echoes in the hills of the Vindhyas and Himalayas,

it mingles in the rhapsodies of the pure waters Jamuna and the Ganges.

They chant only thy name,

they seek only thy blessings,

they sing only thy praise.

The saving of all people waits in thy hand,

thou dispenser of India's destiny.

Hail, Hail, Hail to thee.

The tune is our Anthem."

See the second line "dispenser of India's destiny"[Bharat Bhagya vidhata..]

now thats a "third person" reference.".If it was The incredible hulk then this would be pardonable but the person who wrote this is a Noble laureate[that medal is controversial wrt our nationalist sentiments], so u can't argue its a grammatical mistake.

Game Review:Call of Duty: Black Ops

Preplay: Man!! Its here like everyyear.The Call Of Duty games have become annual event like many of our important festivals and even birthdays.We may forget Earth Day but we all remember the date the next CoD will arrive.Amazing that only a CoD has been able to suprceed a CoD from past 4 years in terms of popularity ans sales.lets see what tryarch has to offer in the wake of disruption of our beloved Infinity Ward.

Story: Best one yet.Thrilling,Action packed and keeps you on the edges of your seat throught for about 5-6 hours.Voice acting is Stellar.Sam Worthington is rally amazing as Alex mason.I wont tell nothing..evry twist is important.

Gameplay:Its the great old CoD formula and they have rightly not messes with it.Though they have added some elements first for a CoD game like flying a Chopper,driving a Boat and an amazing Terminator 2 esque bike sequence.Leaning comes back but we have already forgotten using it.Crossbow as a weopan addition is effective and fantastic.

Graphics and Sound: Sound has been CoD's forte and industry legend.graphically the engine has churned out amzing setpieces and is certainly up to date.

CLosing Comments:Go buy it!!!!

Game Review: Medal of Honor

Pre-play: Its 3 long years since the last Medal of Honor,One of the most succeful FPS franchise ever and among the pathbreakers too but its younger cousin currently owns the FPS genera,EA decided to shun the WW2 era and come into Present day ,but is this too late??

Story: Nothing Special,just as usual a dumb Hero who is supposed to do everything from blowing tucks to taking out bad guys to calling air sport to washing dishes.We play as rabbit and Adams,but the story lacks the punch the Industry toppers offer and the game is too reliant on Scripted Sequences..meh

Gameplay: again nothing new to offer,we get to man a gun on a chopper,ride a ATV and shoot.The game is heavily dependent on bodycount rather than pure shooting thrills.Dissaponting.We have all seen this already,haven't we.

Lasting appeal:MOH is EAss failed attempt to catch MW series,hope the next one is atleast upto its generation.

Score: 7.5/10

Shame on us!!!!

What is wrong with us,with us I mean we Indians.
I read a short travelogue by great Hindi writer who wrote about strength in belief and respect for one's own country.By not doing anything we hurt our nation but worst of all by criticising what others are doing,hurts The country like some rancid wound.
Come October 3 we have Common Wealth Games,the first one in India.
Brothers,Rome wasn't built in a day,the Organisers are trying as hard as they can to put up a good show,but we and the jaundicised media is hellbent on pulling legs like the "old Indain crab" story and forget adding to the fervor of CWG games ,we are making Important foreign teams to bunk it.We should celbrate these games,rather Delhties are busy booking forighn trips!!! duh!!!

and old sms joke "Sarkari bus pe nahi chadoonga,Sarkari school mein nahi padhoonga,Sarkari aadmi ko kaam nahi saupoonga but Naukari chahiye to sarkari...waah Indian waah".We are responsible with whatever complains we have.And the roots of this problem goes down deep.

Come people its time to unite and rock..lets make the CWG games a success.Forget the corruption or failures,rejoice the successes.Together we can!!

Winner V/s Loser

The Winner is always part of the answer;
The Loser is always part of the problem. The Winner is always has a program;
The Loser always has an excuse. The Winner says,"Let me do it for you;
The Loser says;" That is not my job." The Winner sees an answer for every problem;
The Loser sees a problem for every answer. The Winner says," It may be difficult but it is possible";
The Loser says,"It may be possible but it is too difficult." When a Winner makes a mistake, he says," I was wrong";
When a Loser makes a mistake, he says," It wasn't my fault." A Winner makes commitments;
A Loser makes promises. Winners have dreams;
Loser have schemes. Winners say," I must do something";
Losers say,"Something must be done." Winners are a part of the team;
Losers are apart from the team. Winners see the gain;
Losers see the pain. Winners see possibilities;
Losers see problems. Winners believe in win/win; Losers believe for them to win someone has to lose.
Winners see the potential;
Losers see the past. Winners are like a thermostat;
Losers are like thermometers. Winners choose what they say;
Losers say what they choose. Winners use hard arguments but soft words;
Losers use soft arguments but hard words. Winners stand firm on values but compromise on petty things;
Losers stand firm on petty things but compromise on values. Winners follow the philosophy of empathy: "Don't do to others what you
would, not want them to do to you";
Losers follow the philosophy, "Do it to others before they do it to you."

Winners make it happen;
Losers let it happen.

Role of Manager in today’s world of globalisation

In today’s world where a rise in dollars price not only affects the NASDAQ but also Nikkei and fall in Euro shakes the Middle eastern Markets, Companies have to be up on their heels and should be lead by Managers who are not only eager to go head but have a vision in their approach. He should be technically adept for every situation.
1.The manager should have prime knowledge of the various dependent economies and currencies in the market. Globalisation has led to concept of free markets. A free-market economy is an economy where all markets within it are unregulated by any parties other than those players in the market. In its purest form the government plays a neutral role in its administration and legislation of economic activity neither limiting nor actively promoting it (for example neither regulating industries let alone owning economic interests nor offering subsidies to businesses let alone protecting them from internal/external market pressures). Such an economy in its most radical form does not exist in developed economies, however efforts made to liberalise an economy or make it "free-er" attempt to limit the role of government in such a way. The theory holds that within an ideal free market, property rights are voluntarily exchanged at a price arranged solely by the mutual consent of sellers and buyers. By definition, buyers and sellers do not coerce each other, in the sense that they obtain each other's property rights without the use of physical force, threat of physical force, or fraud, nor are they coerced by a third party (such as by government via transfer payments) and they engage in trade simply because they both consent and believe that what they are getting is worth more than or as much as what they give up. Price is the result of buying and selling decisions en masse as described by the theory of supply and demand. The manager should have an eagles eye on the volatile market and its elements.
2. A Manager should be adept in communicating organizational vision to the employees of the organization. He should ensure that there is effective communication flow in an organization and that there should no misinterpretations taking place.
3. A manager has crucial role to play in decision making process in an organization. He has to decide how to bring and communicate organizational changes. He plays a major role in setting organizational goals. He has to be in close contact with the employees of the organization. He should understand them and motivate them. He should encourage them so that they can perform effectively. He should praise them when they show brilliant performance and on bad performance, he should give them constructive feedback rather than negative feedback. He should provide them online support and coaching.
4. The manager should keep track of the changing perspective, opinions and moods of the market. Courage and vision are the two most important feathers in a mangers cap. Going against the trend or be it changing the path and direction of flow altogether Manager should be post a picture of valour and creativity in front of his team.
As a Case history :The Royal Enfield Motors was struggling to keep pace with the changing market paradigm. A new CEO R Chandra arrived with new vigour and brought out Thunderbird brand of motorcycles that were a instant hit and made a niche market for themselves.
Similarly Food chain Biggies like McDonalds are serving dishes as per the ethic=nicety and culture of the market in which they want foothold.

5. A manager should constantly upgrade his knowledge as well as skills of his staff otherwise he may fall behind in today’s cut throat environment. Vocational workshops, communication skill enhancement, Knowledge relating to changing corporate laws are obligatory.
6. A manager should develop a Independent thinking and should not only be responsible for the decision he takes but should be responsible for its consequences or repercussions . Independent thinking alone is not suited to interdependent reality. Independent people who do not have the maturity to think and act interdependently may be good individual producers, but they won't be good leaders or team players. They're not coming from the paradigm of interdependence necessary to succeed in organizational reality.
7. I today’s open market not only the Manager should be eager in expanding into new territories but strengthening foothold in the current markets and increasing the brand value and trust of the Organisation as a whole .Many brands with their constant hard work have cast a spell of trust on the market generally such as leading bike maker Hero Honda or mobile company Nokia. Nokia is a Finnish Company doing great in India and China. They have understood the needs of local public and researched the conditions and succeeded.
8. Not only Managers should be eying foreign markets but always be on guard from advent of foreign players that try to invade your own local markets. That requires great amount of ingenuity as the usual MNC are well prepared for gaining foothold backed by huge amount of capital and workforce as well as alliances.
As a example. the Indian toy market, biggest in the world after china, has been completely taken over by cheap Chinese counterparts. While the Indian companies still pla ced bets on key and spring spirals, Chinese were there with their cheaply priced electronically run toys. Now the market is plagued with sub-quality products.
In other case, Parle Agro is still the market leader in sweet beverages field. Biggies like Coca Cola and Pepsi have brought their products like Juce up,Aquafina but Bisleri,Rasna are still the favourites as they have not only maintained pace with changing tastes but also kept up to level of quality standards.

Something Crossed my frnd's mind

bhag kar jaaun bhi to kah ,
mera waqt tp ek lamhe me thehara hai .
jaha thak kar gir jaana hai nishchit hai,
meri aatma par ek aisa hi pehra hai..
dekh kar jise ho jaati hai,
aankhen bhi meri band
mera khud ka apna bhi,
ek aisa hi chehra hai.|

roshni bhi jahan kho jaati hai,
andhero me mai milkar
mere kal ka eak nishan,
kuch itna hi gehra hain..
onsh ki bunde bhi jahan per,
angaro si tapti hain
mere astitava ke charo taraf,
eak aisa hi ghana kohra hain..

jahan bebasi per meri,
kisi ko thahako ki jaroorat nahi
meri hi ek muskan ne mujhe,
us mukam pe la choda hain..
gujar rahi meri gindagi puri,
ek lamhe se ladte huye.
khud ke hi tukdo ko maine,
na jaane kitani baar joda hain..

fariyaad ko uthate haath mere,
na jaane kyu ruk jaatein hain.
har masoom ke giratein aansoo mai,
mujhe apne gunah nazar aatein hain..
khud se kiye har waade,
andhere mai yun ghul jaate hai.
jaise kagaz par likhe shabd,
sayahi se dhul jaatein hai..

har ugate suraj ki kiran ,
ek intjaar lekar aati hain.
tapti huyi jami par kadmo ke,
kuch aur nishan chhod jaati hain|..
khud ki taraf badte huye,
mere kadam yu mud jaatein hain .
jaise haath se chhute ret ke kanh,
haoyo mai udh jaatein hain..

nishchit hai is kaid se mai ,
khud kabhi aazad na ho payunga .
nahi di dastak kisi ne,
to mar kar bhi mei yahi rah jaayunga..
mera waqt bandha hai tab tak ,
un kadmo ki aahat ke intzaar main.
shayad kisi masoom ki muskaan bankar he,
mai is kaid se muqt ho payunga..

tab tak meri har saans ko,
us shaam ka intzaar hai.
jab shitiz par ek pal ke liye ,
jami aasama se muil jaaye..
ek arse se jami huyi,
yeh partein kuch pighal jaayein.
meri aatma par lage woh ,
shayah nishaan kuch dhuul jaayein......

Of animals and Football

Its really amazing how the speechless Paul has tentacled the whole media with his spot on predictions.Animals are believed to have some sort of "6th" sense or intuition or hunch but this one has got everything right.Be it Germany's victory over struggling England or the fiery in form Argentina or be it the shocking loss at the hands of Spain.Maybe Paul knows something about Negative Energy coz every time the the team he ignores they begin to play horrific football,they miss chances,they do poor passes and one thing noticeable even the fortune shuns them..remember how the goal-line goal of England was disqualified and how the Germans were never given any Penalty that they deserved.
Paul has chosen Spain for the world champs.Even Nostradamus has but One guy in this world that is a Non-Holland is supporting me and thats Parrot Mani from Malaysia.he roots for Dutch so do I,reasons being different.
One thing to notice,do Paul n Mani even now wat Football is?
Anyways these to speechless guys have made every other Pundit shut up,all numerologists checking back into 3rd grade for basic maths and and every Football fan in awe.
People and Fans alike are not concerned about wat they elders in Football say,what shall be the strategies,what shall be the formation?should Torres open?Who should keep?Who should pass and how shall be the substitutes be used..hell no..The only thing we care that Paul has picked Spain so Spain shud win...lmfo!!!
Lets see who wins Paul or Mani!!!

OFFICE SPACE...A MUST WATCH

Office Space, a Mike Judge film is a 1999 comedy film released under 20th Century Fox banner.It satirizes work life in a typical 1990s software company, focusing on a handful of individuals who are fed up with their jobs. The film's sympathetic portrayal of ordinary IT workers garnered it a cult following among those in that profession which is soon to be my line too, but the film also addresses themes familiar to office workers and white collar employees in general.
I must say if u r CSE-It student or soon to be a IT professional,u must watch this movie.It simply tells u the story of three guys Peter(Ron Livingston),Samir and Michael who r the avrage IT guys and some big software firm called Initech.And u really fall for their naivety.And their little fat mumbling Milton with whom u begin to sympathize more than ur relative.the "Munday" syndrome and "what shall u do if u get a million dollars" and the plight of a IT pro just make a connection with the viewer.It may seem that we just have to sit through a day in our cubicle in AC staring at our computers...its hell.U r not better than the machine on which u work..atleast ur computer dosen't have to answer dozen of bosses for some silly mistake.And their a con plan too.
The film features and awesome rap soundtrack that the studio finds incongruous but it works wonders."Its great to be a gangsta" is so correct to a context.
The film also features Joanna,the love interest of Peter played by Anniston who herself is pissed with her job as a petty waitress and a nagging boss.Its the characterization and stellar performances which make this movie a cult classic comedy.Their's nothing slapstick..the jokes will make u laugh if u really connect to them.The film is was ranked 5th in the Entertainment weekly "25 years 25 best laughs".The film wasn't a box-office hit coz of bad promotion but holds a cult classic status and was a enormous hit in terms oh home rentals and video rights.Mike judge had pulled a of a wonder.
Ans kudos to root for playing Milton and Gary Cole for playing Lumbergh.."hmmm yeah"""
Though the film looses the pace after first 40 minutes but still is an awesome watch.
And how can we forget the "fax machine clean" sequence...wait i need to care of something too..cya!!

No windows..no fresh air :(

It has been 7 painful days since I have killed a goon.7 days since I have massacared a train station.7 days since I have won the freedom of my community.no I m not joking,I m saying that it has been 7 long days since I have played any game.
Reason,The network administartor has banned my IP from using internet.:(
Now I m in dilemma,shall I play games or shall I use Internet coz on ubuntu I can surf net but at tortoise's speeds.On the other hand Linux sucks when it comes to entertainment.U cant just spend ur day playing stupid mahajongg or sudoku.
When it comes to music and 720p videos..linux struggles and offers no competition to the mighty window media player.
This brings us to two conclusions:
Linux has still to go a long way to catch Windows if it really wants to compete and enter every noobies homes.
Secondly,IIIT-Hydrabad (did i write the correct no. of 'I's) is ultra Fascists when it comes to internet.back home at my MNNIT,I downlaod shit everyday and delete.Tons of gb's of crap at avg speed of 2 mbps..I miss U my college.
Though I m not paid by Bill gates to endorse Windows..I m loving getting used to linux.It's light,its fast..it boots in 10 seconds..u can browse easily.The terminal is
powerful as a vorpel sword..but the net surfing sux!!!!
Signing off for today..Announcing a reward of $1000 for the PC(or his password will do) of network admin :X

Gaming: not just pots n pans!!!

April 21,1945.Berlin,Germany: A look of shocked surprise comes over
the young soldier's face as he clutches his chest where he has been
shot while the soldier next to him shrieks in agony as his arm is
blown away by MG-42 fire. Bodies falling everywhere, its raining blood
as frightened young men try to end the lives of other frightened men
for the greater good. Mutilated head, arms and legs are lying on the
ground, men of different nationalities, different cultures, different
sides strewn on the ground as nameless corpses, men who cud have
shaped their country's future made their families proud are dead,
their precious lives wasted....while the leaders rejoice at the
victory...
Dec 20, 2008.Varanasi,India:I was experiencing the most important and
catastrophic event of this century. The World War 2..I could
experience the War by being a part of it. I have lived through the
horrors of a war and I know how unnerving and vile it is......even it
was a virtual one, even I could at once come back to life by pressing
F7 key, even I was allowed to rectify my mistakes but the atrocies of
war was etched for forever in my heart that very day..
World war 2 has been a hot topic for the entertainment industry
whether it be blockbuster movies, novels or games including board and
video games. But these have been tools that seem to be one of the
reason that keeps us away from the 3rd one, for the time being. We
really don’t want to make the same mistakes as our forefathers ,till
we make them.
Come to present day. Politicians around the globe are hell-bent on
censoring games. they argue it nurtures Violence in little kids who
are learning to shoot and die in the name of fun. Even if that’s true,
what the hell are we pretending? What the hell are we hoaxing?
Whenever asked about any hobby we come with singing, dancing, writing,
reading...but if you ever pondered over our past, present and future
you will certainly discover what really has been our hobby, and my
friend you guessed it right it is War, our favorite pastime, and we
say that gaming makes us violent and creepy and every other abuse that
a so called Intelligentsia level upon us the gaming community. We
shan't forget that
the most primal nature of man is to fight, a fight to either satisfy
his greed or to prove his dominance or to be a part of a group. so,
humans in general and certain individuals in particular, want war.
Violence is a component of humanity’s gene pool, war being one
manifestation of this violent tendency. its like killing a spider with
a book. you know you will be disgusted by the squished spider but you
will still want to have a look!!! Every epic is based on a big war,
every movie needs to end with some fight. We love fighting; we crave
for an in game brawl when viewing some sport. We have fun when others
take a fall and get hurt. ask yourself mate, don’t you? If you don't
second me have a look at the history of we the humans who love drawing
boundaries and killing. Civilization, as we know it, is largely the
creation of wars. All civilizations, our own included, have been built
on slavery and mass murder. Psychopaths have played a disproportionate
role in the development of civilization, because they are hard-wired
to lie, kill, cheat, steal, torture, manipulate, and generally inflict
great suffering on other humans without feeling any remorse, in order
to establish their own sense of security through domination. The
inventor of civilization - the first tribal chieftain who successfully
brainwashed an army of controlled mass murderers - was almost
certainly a genetic psychopath. Since that momentous discovery,
psychopaths have fought and enjoyed wars. People died while the
leaders reveled. In simple words War is an integral part of our life
and our genesis. War divides us, War unites us.

I don’t argue that gaming can or will end hunger, illiteracy or
disease but one thing it can do is bring peace. I may sound stupid but
gaming in fact relieves us off our frustration, anger and sorrow. try
it!!! And for god's sake stop censoring games. A title SIX DAYS IN
FALLUJAH ,a third person shooter still in development phase, still
needs a publisher since konami ditched it. and why? just because its a
game based on real incidents that took place in Iraq a few years back.
thats one of the examples of the level of hypocrisy prevailing in our
world. The leaders have driven is like robots till date and they will
continue till the world ends.
we love to fight, doesn’t matter if we fight dirty, or we fight for
love or for any other cranky reason, humans just cant live without
fighting. What i am trying to say is that would u rather see people
get killed(maybe get killed yourself) or letting your frustration go
by a small session of gaming?? you are angry with the world, you want
to have the attention and the respect that you feel you always
deserved and Whatt if youlost it? never worry mate, instead get some
cold beer(even coke will do), invite your friends, close the door
and turn on your XboX360/PS3 or your PC's.
Let the game begin......

Freinds how can I define the feeling
